Crazy week lies ahead…

As it stands on Monday we’re boiling up and transferring to the fermenter our new kettle sour, Peculiar Pomegranate and bottling up some Out Of Step IPA. Then Tuesday we’re brewing up a kind of unplanned big hoppy IPA maybe double IPA with Gage from BeerMenus – we’ll see how it goes on the day! Indiegogo

We raised just over £1700 from our Indiegogo fund raising which is a great help and has reduced a chunk of the bill for the drain repairs.  It’s holding up well, a great job done and it’s been a relief to get back to brewing, the comeback beer of Porangi NZ Pale has gone really well. It all starts with a mash whether it’s brewing beer or distilling gin so for September and October we’ve gone on the hunt for the people who do both.  We’ve got a great line up of beers and an extra 15 gins to add to our fabulous gin menu.  Beers will be in a variety of cask, keg and bottle. It’s been non stop this week as we try and catch up with shutting for a few days over Christmas. Monday was an Outlandish Pale brew, Tuesday an Off The Rails Chocolate Stout, Wednesday a Way Out Wheat, Thursday over to Bridestones for a collab, Sprocket Wort Orange, Friday a Disfunctional Functional IPA and Saturday David from Otherton Ales is using fermenter 5 for his Mayflower.
